    President

    Sylvie is a senior from New York City concentrating in Political Science and Computer Science. She is passionate about criminal justice reform, political theory, constitutional interpretation, and the intersection of law and technology. Outside of Brown Dems, she is a writer for the Brown Undergraduate Law Review.

  • Jacqueline Zhang '27

    Vice President

    Jacqueline is concentrating in Political Science, specializing in political and legal theory. She is a Bonner Fellow working closely with The Womxn Project and a Laidlaw Scholar. She also conducted research in reproductive justice and domestic violence.

  • Lily Zamora '26

    Speaker and Events Director

    Lily is a senior from New Jersey, double concentrating in Political Science and Economics with a strong interest in public policy, policy research, and civic engagement. At Brown, Lily is the President of Brown Initiative for Policy and a tutor leader in economics at the Sheridan Center.

  • Kayla Morrison '26

    Political Director

    Kayla is a senior from Colorado concentrating in Political Science and Social Analysis and Research. She is passionate about bridging policy, law, journalism, and education to drive meaningful change. At Brown, she serves as a writer for the Brown Political Review, a team lead with the Brown Initiative for Policy, a Bonner Fellow with Vote16USA, and a Laidlaw Scholar, in addition to her work with Brown Dems.

    Political Director

    Brianna is a junior studying Political Science and Social Analysis and Research. As the Political Director, she is looking forward to working on midterm elections and ensuring Brown remains strong against current government attacks.

    Tiziano is a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas concentrating in International and Public Affairs and Economics. He is interested in exploring the intersection between economics and politics. He is also involved with Brown Initiative for Policy and the Brown Political Review.

    Tommy is a junior from San Diego, California, concentrating in Political Science and Applied Math-Biology. He is also a member of Brown's student government organization and president of the Brown Opinion Project.

  • Erin Ozyurek '27

    Reproductive Rights Caucus Director

    Erin is a third-year student studying International and Public Affairs on the Policy and Governance track. She’s especially interested in reproductive justice, gender equity, and foreign policy. Outside of Brown Dems, she serves on the advocacy team for Brown Votes, is part of the Brown Political Union, and works on the BPR multimedia team.

    Emma is a sophomore from Spotsylvania, Virginia. She is concentrating in International and Public Affairs on the policy track and French. Beyond Brown Dems, she serves as a Meiklejohn and is involved in Rural Students at Brown.

    Education Caucus Director

    Shiven is a first-year from Sacramento, California studying History and Applied Mathematics. He became invested in politics after being an exchange student in Ecuador during their Presidential Elections. Outside of Brown Dems, Shiven is an analyst at Brown Consulting Club and loves playing and watching soccer. 

  • Olha Burdeina '27

    Immigration Caucus Director

    Olha Burdeina is a junior at Brown University studying International and Public Affairs and Political Science. Originally from Ukraine, she has extensive experience in advocacy, international relations, and policy work. Interested in social aspects of security studies, she is a Projects for Peace fellow and a founder of veterans-IDPs initiative "Reborn." On campus, she serves as President of the Brown Alliance for Ukraine and is a staff writer for the Brown Undergraduate Law Review.
